A three story house built at the end of the 19th century, EL SOL DE SAN TELMO’ retains its original French Italian style and architecture while being newly restored with modern conveniences. A place to stay in total comfort in the heart of tango and meet a lot of interesting people from all around the world. 2 minutes from Plaza Dorrego with its antique market and tango shows on weekends, 5 min. to different milongas and the city-center, and 15 min from Recoleta & Barrio Norte. Come and enjoy the pleasure of staying in this charming house with nice people and get to know Buenos Aires at your leisure. The 13 spacious bedrooms are well equipped and prepared for the different seasons with ceiling fans (A/C optional) and substantial heating during the winter. A shared kitchen is available on each floor as well as private or shared new bathtubs and showers. The rooftop garden is available for dinning under the stars, for sunbathing during summer days or having the traditional asado (BBQ) on sundays. A dance studio with mirrors and parquet flooring open for guests private practice, or for Tango lessons. Our guests also find all the friendly information and advice regarding milongas, lessons, teachers related with tango and other turist interests. Free Internet and cleaning services are available.
