The Desert Haveli is one of the few fascinating buildings of the Jaisalmer fort(national monument) it self. It belongs to an old (BRAHMIN)family from there and the current owner himself is related to that family. this guest house has beautiful traditional yellow stone construction, the building has been kept intact with original walls,arch ways ,ceilings rich in charactars,fine caurving work in stone and the unique palace like design.A little modifications have been done to provide modern facilities like attach bath,fresh air and sun light, suitable soft beds have been provided ,furnished with curtains of traditional printed fabrics to maintain the jaisalmer tradition look, important ::Each room is unique and prices range from inr 700to inr 3000 so there is some thing to suit all budgets. the pleasant location and atmosphere make it a great place to stay.
