Ruxmian Lodge is a Cape Dutch style house, and is centrally situated in the Strand, Western Cape, South Africa, on the shores of False Bay. A mere 48 km from Cape Town and 20 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. We are surrounded by the stunning Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountain range. The Strand has a pristine safe beach of white sand and about 4km long. The Lodge offers 5 tastefully furnished rooms with 3 bathrooms, one bathroom ensuite and two commune bathrooms and a one bedroom studio, fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom and entrance. Facilities include a relaxed lounge, loft/TV room with satelite TV, fully equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, air conditioning in all the rooms, electronic safes, undercover entertainment and braai area with 2 honesty bars, secure parking. Catering services are available on request. Things to do include: The Helderberg Nature Reserve, hiking trails, wine routes, swimming, surfing, fishing on and off shore, 4 golf clubs, restaurants, scenic routes, and shopping malls all within minutes from the Lodge.
