Acer Lodge is situated on the west side of Edinburgh on a main road where numerous buses are available for the 15 minute ride to the city centre (3 miles). The Airport (4 miles) and the Forth Road Bridge (5 miles) are also only a 10-15 minute drive away. The accommodation boasts a Visitscotland 4* rating and single, double, twin and family rooms are available. Each centrally heated room is en-suite and individually and tastefully furnished with many homely extras including tea/coffee making facilty, colour television, hairdryer, mini refrigerator, trouser press, shaver point, alarm clock/radio and biscuits. After a good nights sleep an extensive breakfast is provided catering for all diets. If required a cot and high chair are also available. Whether travelling by road, rail or air we are ideally situated, 4 miles from both Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh Waverley Station and if arriving by road, private parking is provided. Exact directions on how to get here, including bus numbers and directions can be supplied on request or when booking. Several high quality Golf Courses, a Sports Complex, Edinburgh Zoo, Murrayfield Rugby Stadium and the Royal Botanic Gardens are all within 2 miles of the Guest House. More importantly, within half a mile are a Supermarket, Hotel, Restaurants, Public Houses, Banks, Hairdressers, Post Office and other shops and facilites. After exploring Edinburgh, Acer Lodge is ideally placed to visit other parts of Scotland and we can arrange day tours on your behalf with pick up and drop off from outside the Guest House.
